A highly regarded law firm in Austin is seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney with 3&-5 years of experience to join its growing litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated construction and commercial litigation matters alongside accomplished attorneys in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Qualifications

J.D. from a top-tier law school

3&-5 years of litigation experience
-
Experience handling construction law and construction-related disputes
-
Strong background in general commercial litigation
-
Prior Big Law experience strongly preferred
-
Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
-
Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
-
Must be located in the Austin, Texas area and able to work on-site

Responsibilities
-
Manage and support complex construction and commercial litigation matters
-
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses
-
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategy analyses
-
Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials
-
Collaborate directly with partners and clients on case management and litigation strategy
-
Develop and maintain strong client relationships
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive compensation structure consisting of a base salary plus quarterly performance bonuses

Associates are generally expected to bill approximately 140 hours per month

No formal billable-hour requirement

Quarterly bonuses are based on collections and include additional credit for client originations

Expected annual compensation for qualified candidates ranges from $250,000&-$280,000 , depending on experience, billing, and collections

Unlimited upside potential with no cap on quarterly bonus earnings
