Oil & Gas Attorney
I’m currently working directly with a highly respected, nationally recognized law firm in the energy sector that is looking to add an Oil & Gas Attorney to its San Antonio office.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Oil & Gas Attorney who wants to handle sophisticated, high-stakes energy disputes while working alongside a well-established and reputable team. The firm is open to attorneys at the Of Counsel or Partner level and open to relocation.

The compensation structure for this Oil & Gas Attorney role is market-competitive and commensurate with experience, with generous performance-based bonuses.

What We Need

  • 5 years of experience as an Oil & Gas Attorney with a focus on litigation and dispute resolution
  • First-chair trial experience, including jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations
  • Background handling complex oil & gas matters (royalty disputes, lease issues, JOAs, upstream/midstream contracts)
  • Direct, hands-on experience handling oil & gas matters in the Permian Basin
  • Ability to independently manage cases from intake through trial or resolution
  • Strong legal writing, research, and advocacy skill set
  • Active Texas Bar license (or ability to obtain quickly)
