Position Summary
The Finance Talent Partner plays a critical role within our Consulting Division by identifying, engaging, and supporting skilled accounting and finance consultants for project-based and interim engagements. Working closely with Business Development, this role participates in Job Intake conversations, provides market insight, and then uses a relationship-driven approach to attract, assess, and recommend top-tier professionals for each engagement. Once a consultant is placed, this individual maintains ongoing communication throughout the assignment and proactively plans for their next project - ensuring continuity, quality, and consultant satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Job Intake
- Partner with Business Development on client discovery and Job Intake calls.
- Ask clarifying questions to understand project scope, deliverables, deadlines, and key success criteria.
- Offer guidance on market conditions, consultant availability, and competitive bill rate expectations.
- Collaborate with Business Development to create clear, thorough Job Orders.
Consultant Attraction, Assessment & Matching
- Build authentic relationships with accounting and finance consultants, understanding their strengths and project interests.
- Attract and engage qualified professionals through networking, outreach, referrals, and proactive talent development.
- Evaluate consultant fit based on technical skill, communication, professionalism, and project readiness.
- Present opportunities in an informative, consultative manner that prioritizes transparency and partnership.
- Recommend top consultant matches to clients, backed by analysis of capabilities and engagement alignment.
- Negotiate consultant compensation and project terms in a professional and collaborative way.
Engagement and Ends Management
- Maintain ongoing communication with consultants throughout their assignments.
- Support consultant satisfaction, address challenges early, and ensure successful performance.
- Strategically plan upcoming engagements to minimize gaps in consultant utilization.
- Collaborate with Business Development to identify future opportunities for redeployment.
Collaboration & Process Excellence
- Maintain accurate, thorough documentation in internal systems.
- Work closely with Business Development partners to ensure seamless client and consultant experiences.
- Commit to continuous improvement and uphold Taylor White’s service and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years experience as an accountant, public accounting professional, or finance analyst.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and listening skills.
- Exceptional organization and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Passion for people, problem-solving, and creating meaningful career matches.
Preferred
- Public accounting experience (Big 4 or regional firms).
- Exposure to finance consulting or professional services environments.
