Imprimis Group is partnering with a well-established, family-owned construction company (30 years) in Dallas that is seeking an Accounting / HR Coordinator to join their growing team.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants to grow their accounting career while gaining exposure to payroll, HR, and day-to-day business operations. You’ll work closely with leadership and a Controller, with the ability to expand your skillset over time.

Position Overview
This role will focus heavily on Accounts Receivable, while also supporting Accounts Payable, payroll, and light HR functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a customer-service mindset, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role.

Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance
  • Manage Accounts Receivable, including collections and maintaining strong customer relationships
  • Support Accounts Payable and general bookkeeping functions
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting activities
  • Work within QuickBooks Online and an internal ERP system (training provided)

Payroll
  • Assist with payroll processing (training provided as needed)

HR & Administrative Support
  • Support employee onboarding and benefits coordination
  • Assist with workers’ compensation and HR-related reporting
  • Maintain employee records and documentation

Additional Responsibilities
  • Pick up and distribute company mail from local post office
  • Assist with occasional bank deposits
  • Provide general office and operational support as needed

Qualifications Required:
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, or AR/AP
  • Strong Accounts Receivable experience, including collections with a customer-service approach
  • Experience with QuickBooks (Online preferred)
  • Basic understanding of debits & credits and AR aging
  • Exposure to payroll processing

Preferred:
  • Experience in a small to mid-sized business environment
  • Exposure to ERP systems
  • Light HR or administrative experience
