About the Role

The Senior Manager, Global Security & Investigations leads complex security incidents, investigations, and security operations across Topgolf’s global footprint. This role serves as the primary escalation point for high-risk and sensitive incidents, partnering closely with venue leadership, HR, Legal, Facilities, IT, and law enforcement to protect Playmakers, guests, assets, and the Topgolf brand.

In addition, this role oversees operational security across an assigned region, including third-party guard programs, internal security teams, emergency preparedness, and travel, event, and executive security.

Key Responsibilities
Global Investigations & Incident Leadership
  • Lead and oversee investigations involving workplace violence, theft, fraud, misconduct, threats, safety incidents, and policy violations.
  • Serve as the primary decision-maker during high-risk or escalated incidents, coordinating with law enforcement and emergency responders.
  • Maintain thorough case documentation, including evidence logs and chain of custody standards.
Risk Management & Prevention
  • Identify security risks and trends; develop prevention strategies, response protocols, and operational playbooks.
  • Partner with HR and Legal on employee-related security concerns and workplace violence mitigation.
Venue Security & Investigations
  • Implement and maintain physical security programs to ensure the safety of Playmakers and guests.
  • Oversee in-house and contract security teams within an assigned region.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local law enforcement agencies.
  • Develop emergency response protocols and train operational leaders.
  • Conduct security assessments across venues as needed.
Third-Party Security Program Management
  • Manage third-party security providers, including performance, post orders, and utilization.
  • Oversee budgets and forecasting related to contract security services.
  • Ensure external partners effectively support investigations and escalation procedures.
GSOC & Critical Incident Coordination
  • Partner with the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) for monitoring, escalation, and crisis response coordination.
Travel, Event & Executive Security
  • Manage global travel security protocols, including risk assessments and traveler support.
  • Plan and oversee security for special events and full-venue buyouts, ensuring safety for guests, Playmakers, VIPs, and talent.
  • Develop event-specific security plans, including access control, crowd management, and emergency response.
  • Lead internal and contract security teams during events to ensure consistent standards and rapid response.
  • Provide executive protection support, including threat assessments and coordination with travel security as needed.
Cross-Functional Partnerships
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Legal, Operations, Facilities, IT, and senior leadership on sensitive and high-impact matters.
What You Bring
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
  • At least 7 years of leadership experience within a corporate security environment
  • Proven experience managing complex investigations and coordinating with law enforcement agencies
  • Experience leading event, travel, and executive security operations
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee security operations across multiple venues or regions, ensuring consistent investigative standards and incident response protocols
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration skills
