Associate, Jr. Partner or Partner Level - Corporate Group

An established boutique commercial law firm with a highly collegial environment, is currently seeking a Transactional M&A Attorney to join their team full-time and eventually transition into a Jumior Partner role.

Candidate has seen M&A and transactional side, can be trained to sign off on projects and become Partner quickly. Can jump in on the supervising side, if not onboard at Partner-level.

The salary for this role will be market-competitive and commensurate with experience, a top market base salary with generous performance-based year-end bonuses.

Skills and Requirements:

  • 6 years' experience
  • Applicants must live in Texas
  • Experience in transactional, M&A work
  • Desire to grow and advance with the firm over the long-term
  • Ability to work alongside senior partners to assist with workflow as required
  • Professional, organized and collegiall
  • Billable hour req: 1750 realistic (1850 goal)

Firm began as a litigation boutique 20 years ago, now full service firm. Really focused on the middle market and private companies. Most clients are founder-run or primary equity holders. Very little turn over, culture is excellent, associates are hired to make partner. Training is important, mentoring and client development training is excellent.
