Job Description

Commercial Construction Superintendent

Seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction projects throughout the state of Texas. This is an opportunity for a field-focused leader who enjoys taking ownership of the jobsite, driving schedules, leading teams, and seeing projects through from dirt work to final turnover.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable managing all aspects of field operations while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day jobsite operations from mobilization through project completion
  • Coordinate subcontractors, manpower, materials, and equipment
  • Drive project schedules and identify potential delays or field challenges before they impact progress
  • Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
  • Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA compliance
  • Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate effectively with project teams and ownership
  • Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities
  • Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and reporting

Qualifications:

  • 7 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
  • Proven experience overseeing ground-up construction projects
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience coordinating multiple trades and maintaining schedules
  • Experience with Procore and/or construction management software preferred
  • Willingness to travel throughout the state of Texas as project needs require
