Job Description
Commercial Construction Superintendent
Seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up construction projects throughout the state of Texas. This is an opportunity for a field-focused leader who enjoys taking ownership of the jobsite, driving schedules, leading teams, and seeing projects through from dirt work to final turnover.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and comfortable managing all aspects of field operations while maintaining quality, safety, and schedule expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day jobsite operations from mobilization through project completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, manpower, materials, and equipment
- Drive project schedules and identify potential delays or field challenges before they impact progress
- Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards
- Maintain a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA compliance
- Lead subcontractor meetings and communicate effectively with project teams and ownership
- Manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities
- Maintain accurate jobsite documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
- 7 years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Proven experience overseeing ground-up construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Experience coordinating multiple trades and maintaining schedules
- Experience with Procore and/or construction management software preferred
- Willingness to travel throughout the state of Texas as project needs require
