You will be the Aeronautical Engineer Sr Staff for the Aeronautics Engineering Team which is responsible for delivering breakthrough aircraft capabilities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Aeronautical Engineer Sr Staff you will be responsible for advancing finite element analysis that underpins the design, development, and sustainment of our premier military aircraft programs.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop and validate high-fidelity finite element models for F-35, P-47, IFG, and ADP platforms.
- Conduct structural analyses, interpret results, and provide actionable recommendations to design teams.
- Partner with cross-functional engineers to support design reviews and certification efforts.
- Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in modeling and simulation.
- Identify opportunities to enhance analysis efficiency and accuracy.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Ability to work in collaborative and team based environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with project budgets, schedules, and performance
- Proficient in Unix/Linux computer operating system environments
- Previous Experience with Lockheed Martin Advanced Development Programs is highly desired
- Previous experience with Lockheed Martin F-35 FEA tools, methods, and procedures is highly desired - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- Proficient in using FEA pre/post processors Altair Hypermesh, MSC Patran, and TMP SLIM/Vision
- Proficient in using FEA solver MSC Nastran
- Proficient in using CATIA V5/V6 and 3DX Software
- Previous experience with leading, supervising, and training technical team members in FEA techniques
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required
