We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists/Operators for our production shop specializing in the manufacturing of pipes, valves, and flanges (PVF). This role involves working with pre-loaded programs, indicating parts, and touching off with longer runtimes on larger parts with wide open tolerances, primarily using carbon steel and occasionally stainless steel. As a CNC machine operator, you will be responsible for preparing and operating CNC machines to run parts according to blue print or mechanical drawing specifications. Load raw materials and parts onto machines, inspect and measure finished products for accuracy. You must comply with company safety rules and regulations in machinery operation. Requires bending, lifting, standing, walking. Responsibilities: Operate CNC machines to produce large parts such as flanges, elbows, and fittings up to 48" to 60" in size. Perform set-ups with minimal edits using G code. Operate VTL using Fanuc controls, managing two machines simultaneously due to long run times. Handle machining of similar parts daily, varying primarily in size. Vertical Machining Center &- VMC (is a computer-controlled machine where the spindle is oriented vertically (pointing down toward the workpiece). The cutting tool rotates on a vertical spindle. The workpiece is fixed on a movable table. The machine moves along X, Y, and Z axes (and sometimes more). Controlled by G-code programs for precision machining.
