A leading manufacturing company in the filtration industry is looking for a Night Shift Production Coordinator (Pleater) to provide essential support to the Operations team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a comprehensive understanding of safety and quality control. Collaborating with other departments, the new team member will enhance operational efficiency by effectively managing the production schedule and staff, ensuring seamless operations.
Payrate: $24/Hr
Location: Houston, TX 77066
Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire
Shift: Monday-Thursday 4PM-2AM

- Oversee production processes to enhance efficiency and determine where to make improvements.
- Manage a team of 40 production employees and build strategies to maximize performance.
- Set goals for the production team, complete performance evaluations, and provide proper training.
- Collaborate with other departments on materials required for jobs.
- Communicate regularly with upper management regarding issues impacting production.
- Evaluate machine resources to ensure continued production and minimal downtime.
- Develop workflow procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality.
- Perform all other duties as requested.
Requirements:
- Please note that for this position candidates must be able to speak both English and Spanish fluently
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to coach, motivate, and provide support to production staff
- Comprehensive understanding of safety and quality control
