Schedule: 5days x 8hrs shift Sunday – Thursday 9:30a-6:00p (No rotating weekends; holidays and on-call rotations as needed)

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging exams and provide exceptional patient care for physician-ordered Rad/FL procedures. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and service excellence. Location: Houston Medical Center

The Ideal Candidate will have ARRT-certified with Texas Medical Board CMRT and BLS. Strong technical skills, accuracy, and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities.

What You’ll Do
- Perform imaging procedures using approved protocols and ensure technical accuracy.
- Review patient studies for accuracy, coding, and proper documentation.
- Administer contrast agents safely and follow all radiation safety guidelines (ALARA, Image Gently).
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure equipment functionality.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with patients, families, and care teams.
- Demonstrate critical thinking to resolve patient care concerns and workflow challenges.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and collaborate to resolve image quality issues.

EDUCATION

  • Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent and
  • Successful completion of an accredited program by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Required: ARRT - American Reg Radiologic Tchnlg Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Upon Hire and
  • Required: CMRT - Cert Medical Radiologic Tech Texas Medical Board (TMB). within 30 Days and
  • Required: BLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or
  • Required: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Upon Hire
