- Review imaging, laboratory results, and medical history to identify and facilitate entry of qualifying patients into the theranostics program
- Triage newly diagnosed cases and obtain medical information to support initial consultations
- Coordinate multi-cycle treatment scheduling, follow-up assessments, and therapy logistics
- Act as a patient and family advocate to uphold patient rights and support informed decision-making
- Coordinate nuclear pharmacy radiopharmaceutical dose ordering and delivery
- Collaborate with nuclear medicine physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, technologists, nuclear pharmacists, radiation safety, imaging physics, and referring oncology teams
- Serve as a liaison with referring providers, including those outside UT MD Anderson
- Reduce non-clinical administrative burden on faculty to support scalable program growth
- Ensure imaging, laboratory data, infusion plans, and documentation are complete and available for review
- Support effective inter-professional communication and shared clinical decision-making
- Organize and prioritize work of the patient care team to promote efficient use of resources
- Apply new knowledge, innovation, and technology to improve patient care delivery
- Participate in change initiatives, quality improvement efforts, and compliance with regulatory standards
- Assist with identifying and accruing eligible patients to clinical trials
- Track and report metrics and quality indicators related to timely cancer diagnosis and treatment
- Provide feedback and participate in staff performance evaluation and professional development

EDUCATION
- Required: Bachelor's Degree Nursing.
- Preferred: Master's Degree Nursing.
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Required: 5 years Professional nursing experience to include three years oncology nursing. or
- Required: 3 years Advanced Practice Registered Nurse experience in an oncology setting with preferred degree.
