Must be located in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex area

The Marketing and Data Intern supports the Digital Transformation Leader in advancing data-driven decision making, process improvement, and digital adoption initiatives across O-I Packaging Solutions (O-IPS). This role assists in transforming business data into actionable insights that improve commercial effectiveness, operational performance, customer engagement, and organizational efficiency.

The intern will contribute to projects involving analytics, reporting, process mapping, customer and market insights, digital tools adoption, and business performance measurement. This position provides exposure to cross-functional collaboration across Commercial, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance, and IT teams while developing practical experience in digital transformation within a complex industrial environment.

During the Internship program, you will:

  • Support digital transformation initiatives through data collection, cleansing, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist in developing dashboards, KPI tracking tools, and performance reports using business intelligence and visualization platforms.
  • Analyze commercial, operational, and customer data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and actionable insights.
  • Support Voice of Customer (VOC), customer experience, and market research activities.
  • Assist with process documentation, workflow mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Help monitor adoption and effectiveness of digital tools, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Prepare presentations, summaries, and visual materials for leadership reviews and project meetings.
  • Conduct competitor, market, and industry research to support strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven problem solving and operational improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and data quality.
  • Support training documentation, communications, and change management activities related to digital initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

  • Prior internship, project, or academic experience involving analytics, reporting, marketing, or process improvement is a plus.

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
  • Attending a college or university in Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or other analytics/visualization tools preferred.

Additional Information

Pay Range: The hourly pay range for this position is $20.50 - $24.60 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Actual compensation may vary depending on various factors, including but not limited to experience, education, and skill level. This range is provided in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
