SCOPE/CONTACTS:

The incumbent has frequent contact with customers, and some contact with other departments. Customer contact is primarily by telephone, and by written correspondence. Results of work are spot-checked and physical effort required is average.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Must be able to learn Bank Collecting procedures and related state and federal laws.
  • Must be firm, but fair, with delinquents and provide assistance in handling financial responsibilities.
  • Actively participate in the sales and service culture, support the values of the organization and follow established Bank policies and procedures.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Twelve months experience in collection, lending, banking, administration or outbound calls.
  • Bank lending/loan operation experience is preferred.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility, dependability, self-motivated, and a sense of urgency.
