- Investigate and resolve escalated platform, application, API, integration, database, and infrastructure issues.
- Support engineering teams by troubleshooting defects, deployment issues, environment issues, configuration problems, and production incidents.
- Analyze root causes and recommend durable fixes rather than relying only on short-term workarounds.
- Read, understand, troubleshoot, and contribute to application code across languages such as Go, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, VB.NET, PowerShell, or similar.
- Build and maintain internal tools, scripts, utilities, and automation that reduce manual work and improve engineering efficiency.
- Support Developer Experience initiatives, including better documentation, repeatable workflows, improved local development support, CI/CD improvements, and internal engineering tooling.
- Monitor platform health, application performance, database performance, uptime, reliability, logs, and operational alerts.
- Troubleshoot APIs, partner integrations, webhooks, file processing workflows, authentication flows, and service-to-service communication.
- Build, maintain, and improve GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for Azure-based deployments.
- Support infrastructure-as-code workflows using Terraform or similar tools.
- Assist with Azure-hosted infrastructure, including App Services, containers, WAF, networking, serverless components, and related cloud services.
- Apply strong infrastructure fundamentals when troubleshooting issues involving DNS, URLs, IP addresses, ports, certificates, routing, firewalls, load balancing, latency, connectivity, and environment configuration.
- Perform light DBA and SQL support tasks, including query troubleshooting, indexing review, stored procedure analysis, data validation, and performance investigation.
- Support MSSQL, Azure SQL, and MySQL environments in partnership with engineering and database owners.
- Assist with data integrity, reporting queries, operational dashboards, and internal reporting needs.
- Support DevSecOps practices aligned with PCI, SOC, SOX, and other compliance requirements.
- Help modernize legacy systems, reduce operational risk, and improve platform maintainability.
- Document workflows, troubleshooting steps, environment details, database schemas, deployment processes, and operational playbooks.
- Provide technical onboarding and support for B2B partners when deeper platform or integration knowledge is required.
- Participate in on-call rotations for platform, infrastructure, application, and database-related incidents.
