- - What You’ll Do - -
As an Aircraft Machinist, you will:
Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision aircraft components
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineering specifications
Select, install, and adjust tooling and fixtures for optimal machining performance
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC equipment as needed
Conduct detailed inspections using precision measuring tools
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment

- - Required Qualifications: - -
High school diploma or GED (vocational training or equivalent experience accepted)
5 years of experience as a CNC machinist
5 years operating CNC machines (milling, turning, etc.)
5 years of experience with G-code programming and CNC controls
Strong computer and communication skills
Ability to work rotating shifts (1st and 2nd)
Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail

Experience with CAD/CAM/CATIA software
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
