JOB SUMMARY Answer incoming calls to the hospital switchboard and distribute to appropriate personnel. Monitor alarms and codes and respond according to procedures. Page physicians on the loud speaker. Provide communication to Security officers through radio contact. Provide answering service functions as needed.Job Specific: Answer incoming calls to the hospital switchboard and distribute to patients, employees, physicians offices, etc. in a prompt, courteous and professional manner – (EF)Overhead page; respond to security calls;Respond to emergency codes in a prompt and professional manner ensuring that all personnel have been contacted; record actions on reports/logs as required. –( EF)Monitor all alarms in the PBX area and respond quickly and according to department protocol – (EF )Issue emergency broadcasts as necessary. Hospital:1. Adheres to organization-wide and other applicable policies and procedures.2. Day-to-day performance complies with the hospital’s Service Excellence Behavioral Expectations.3. Performs within the prescribed limits of the hospital’s Ethics, Compliance and Confidentiality Program guidelines.4. Minimum Requirements
